I have a new baby grand-daughter. She was born Sept. 29, 2009 to my youngest son and his wife. This is their fourth child and last. He had a vasectomy in June. They have two girls and a boy. So they had it all planned to have the girls in one room and the boys in another. She came into this world a huge surprise. Six months ago the ultrasound tech guaranteed that she was a boy. Even the pictures looked like a boy!!!!
Needless to say the disappointment in her birth after planning for months, getting rid of all their baby cloths from the girls and getting things ready for another boy was over whelming for them both. They are planners. My daughter-in-law said it was like a death to them. Brandon, did not come home with them. Lilly came home instead.
I went and seen her today, she is beautiful. Not that I would be prejudiced. They are getting over the shock of a girl and loving her just like all the others.
I told my daughter-in-law Lilly will bring her much joy and companionship to her when she gets older. She'll be the one who will always be there for her parents more so then the other three. She will be the one that will give her parents many surprises. Hopefully all good.
