Two days way to long

Well its been a long two days.  When he came home I told him he had to move out.  He packed up his stuff loaded it into his car and then said he was not going anywhere. He's still here.

I live in a northern state and it has been cold all summer I am so sick of being cold.  As I sit here and type my hands and feet are cold and it's only Sept. 17Th.  Now fall is knocking on the door of winter.  Last winter, we had 6 feet of snow and it was cold.  I think this winter will be some of the same thing and more.  We heat with wood and electric heaters it gets very expensive.   I am worried if we can make it through this winter without losing the house.  Cars are paid for, I drive a 1993 van and he drives 1996 car. Just can't wait for spring already.

Been dealing with insurance companies today.  How can their rates keep going up and nothing changes on my part?  Got quotes of $996.00 cheaper than my present insurance.  Doesn't make and since.

I have been unemployed now for six months. Looking for a job every day, the unemployment rate in our state is over 15%.  And every job I apply for 100 others does too.  Does anyone think it's going to get any better anytime soon?

I was raised by elderly parents, dad collected world war one pension and social security benefits.  I am not sure, but I believe our income was around $300 to $400 per month.  I had to go to work at the age of 12.  I remember this house in Onaway that we lived in had no plaster on the walls (because my mother removed it) and my mother had me and my sister putting up insulation between the studs.  My dad had me doing roofing on the shed in our yard.  It was an Old colonial style house with tall windows and linoleum over wood floors.

We use to sit on the front porch and watch the Northern lights at night. Auroras are the scientific name.

My dad drove a 1957 Pontiac that he use to put a space heater inside of it in the winter.  I don't know why he use to do that but one winter he shattered the windshield by putting the heat in the car.  My mother blew a gasket over the stuff he uses to do.

Our house was always so cold in the winter.  My parents would close off the upstairs and one of the rooms on the first floor.  We would live in three rooms and kitchen.  The oil space heater was in the middle room.  My sister and I shared a double bed off the one side and our parents stayed in the room on the other side.  I would put my mittens on the top of the space heater to dry them out and sometimes forget them and they would scorch and smell from burning material.  Would end up with strips across the palms.  We were poor, but I guess when you are a kid you really don't know any different.  We use to eat a lot of potato soup and beans and cornbread.  A can of tuna was a special treat.

My dad never like me he would say mean things to me and my mother did not believe in sparing the rod and sometimes she would use her fists.  This one time she had me down on the floor and she is sitting on me with her fists doubled up and screaming at me to move my hands off my face so she could hit me.  I was turning my head back and forth to keep her from breaking my nose.  My sister and dad were trying to get her off of me, I was 13.
